Nissan Computer

Nissan Computer Corporation provides sales and service of personal computers, servers, computer parts, and internet hosting and development. Nissan Computer found itself embroiled in a legal battle with Nissan Motors over the use of the name Nissan and the domain name nissan.com. Nissan Motors considers Nissan Computer's use of the name to be trademark dilution,[1] and lay claim to the domain by alleging cyber squatting. However, the computer company is named after its owner, Uzi Nissan.

The case has received national attention in the United States as it has the potential to redefine trademark law as it applies to the internet.[2][3]
